Is there a way to make the pointer automatically go to a particular programme icon after bootup? Am trying to help a friend with low vision.

Would it be easier to put a copy of the icon (shortcut) in the "Startup" menu group so it automatically starts with windows?

Yes, it would - my son said the same thing. I'm so used to taking things off startup, my mind was on the wrong track! Thanks.
