I am trying to connect to a laptop on the home network - say 'ABC' - from my laptop.

It shows my Microsoft Windows Login email address - say 'XYX@outlook.com)

The email address has all my home devices linked to it.

All our devices use a PIN. However, I have re-set my Microsoft Account Password.

The below login does not like the Microsoft Account Password.

I don't know what to try next.

(I have also tried connecting to my laptop from the other laptop i.e. ABC, and the result is the same).

PC: Dell Inspiron 16 5640 (Windows 11 Home), Dell Inspiron 7591 2n1 (Windows 11 Pro), HP ProBook 470G1 (Windows 10 Pro), Intel NUC7I5BNH (Zorin)
Net: Grandstream 1 x GWN7062 Router, 1 x GWN7665 Access Point
Storage: Synology DS216play NAS, 2 x 6TB
Media: 3 x Amazon FireTV. Echo, Dot, Spot
TV: 2 x Samsung H6400 55" LED TV, Panasonic TH-P50G10Z 50" Plasma TV
Mobile: Samsung Galaxy A52 5G
Wearable: Gear S3 Frontier

From memory you need to login at least once using your new password if using a PIN (or disable the PIN temporarily).

Then in the login box prefix the account name like this e.g. MicrosoftAccount\me@email.com

I personally avoid all this by using local accounts.
