Hi Guys,

I have about 15 people comming over in about a week for a LAN Party,

I want to be able to limit people from downloading/accessing the net, is there a way to do this from a Windows Vista machine, I.e, I would make the Vista machine handle all DHCP etc, and make the internet route through it, but I want to be able to limit the internet usage for other computers on the network...

Then say if they want to download something I can allow them to access 250 mb or 1gb etc... via there IP address or MAC address

Is this possible, or any ideas to try.

How do the Hot Spots that you connect to limit your bandwidth/speed

Cheers,
Scott

There are a bunch of software free and paying here, or I have actually used this one once but on an xp machine.
