I just purchased a WD Caviar Green internal hdd. I need to mount it to the PlayOn Media player but not too sure what size screws I need. Is there a standard size screw that I can get from mitre ten or an online shop???

Yes - it's a standard screw size (that I can't think of off the top of my head, however I would suggest getting something like:

http://www.dse.co.nz/dse.shop/en/product/XH5058

from a computer shop (DSE is the example here, there may be other cheaper places.)

I understand that the hard drive screws are a #6 type (I might be wrong on that count, though!)
