I was using windows 7 and i decided to install Windows XP into Dual boot onto a secondary hard drive on my computer. After installing XP i cannot boot into windows 7, It doesnt even come up in dual boot menu. Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

You need to install XP first, then Windows7.

If I remember correctly from the Vista days, you can get back the Windows 7 boot loader (which will also be able to list XP) by inserting the Windows 7 set up disc, going into a "Repair computer" option and using "Startup repair".

I believe the Vista one is similar to the Windows 7 boot loader in most ways

I fixed it.

I poped in the w7 disc and got to the cmd prompt then typed "bootrec /rebuildbcd"

it let me boot onto windows 7 but not XP, but i dont care about XP

download easybcd to fix the xp bit if you want.
