I have a laptop currently running windows 7 32 bit and i would like to dual boot with windows xp aswell so i can boot up the laptop and choose which os to boot

 How would i do this?

One way would be to create a second partition on your hard drive and install winxp to that new partition.

Then at boot your left with the option to boot into one or the other.

I have already tried that and it worked but i could only boot windows xp and it couldnt see windows 7 anymore.
I deleted the partition windows xp was on and then my laptop couldnt boot windows 7 so i had to do a fresh install again

The only I've done it was to install Win XP first then create a new partition and then install Win7 . I have seen ways of doing it the other way round but can't recall the links
