Hi,

After installing drivers (newly downloaded and made sure they are the latest) for windows 7 for my Validity Sensors VFS201 Biometric Fingerprint Reader and configuring it with Biometric Devices in Control Panel.

Windows just shows a black screen with my cursor in the middle for about 2-5 minutes after login in before the desktop loads. Also when I press logoff a blue screen appears. However shutting down seems to be no issue.

Specs:

Acer Aspire 8930G
Windows 7 Home Premuim 32bit
4GB RAM (3GB windows can use)

Fingerprint Reader: Validity Sensors VFS201
