Hey, hope this is an easy one, I am in no way a computer head so please have patience.....

having trouble with photos in "my pictures" folder

for every photo we have saved the computer automatically creates a file (within the same folder) which has a small copy of the photo and then a normal sized one, (so there are 3 in total.)

we delete the new files/folders with the copies, but a few minutes later another file comes back again. must be an automatic setting to make it do this but i cant find the reason after trawling through the help and the internet.... some have suggested a virus.....

any help?
