Hey guys,
I'm currently trying to get some pricing together for MS licenses for Windows Server 2008 x64 web server and have come across a couple of seemingly amazing deals. While pricespy puts the cost of a license at $1000+ apparently it can be had for much cheaper e.g.:

I also saw some for a couple of hundred USD on Ebay. Are these real? I tend to think not due to the pricing disparity. Otherwise anyone recommend where to go to get the correct licensing? i really just need the key and receipt as I have the media.

Thanks!

For that particular store, a thread appeared on CNet.

Basically, you get what you pay for... dodgy goods :)

If it's too good to be true, then it's.

This means I wouldn't get cheaper licenses from some unknown store. The risks are too high.

Yea I thought that, just wanted to check to see if it was legit. So where do people suggest going to buy legit MS keys? I don't really need the whole case and everything and even so, it doesn't look like anyone even stock them?

call your IT vendor and ask them for a price? they will buy via Ingram Micro or ExpressData and should be able to give you an accurate price.

also Microsoft dont tend to sell media any more. you usually have to download the ISO yourself. they might still be shipping server and client os disks though..
