Win XP recognises Canon MP250 multifunction scanner printer.  I don't have DCROM but all Canon utilities show in program list.  I downloaded the driver from the Canon site and ran the setup, which appeared to work, however the unit still doesn't show in printers, and is not seen an the add hardware wizard.

Any advice appreciated.  Thanks
