Hi Guys,
I have three partitions with Kubuntu (KDE), SUSE (KDE) , Ubuntu (Gnome).
My Nvidia grahics card has just died.
Now all three OS will only boot to a console (tty1).
    The MB has onboard graphics.
I have been able to fix the Ubuntu OS by doing Sudo Xorg -configure , which generated a new xorg.conf file.
But the same fix does not work for the two KDE OS.
Im all out of ideas, PLEASE help!

   Thanks Allan

Fixed :-)
edited xorg.conf.failsafe to use openchrome instead of vesa,
which is good enough till the new graphic card arrives.
