I don't know how big the database is, but a quick and easy way to backup something to the cloud if you can't find any external memory is to zip it up with a password to encrypt it, and mail it to your gmail account. This is of course not a substitute for a proper backup solution, but it can be useful as a one-off if nothing else is available.

Agreed. If I'm understanding correctly the OP has no backups at all, and has critical business data on a machine that is likely to be in the process of total failure. This is a crisis situation, and needs to be treated accordingly.

I have to find the 1T drive first... I think it is in a box in the spare room, but rest assured as soon as I find it I'll plug it in and do a backup
