I have a file server (Windows 7 Enterprise, running regular Windows shared folders) in my hall cupboard serving up media to my Raspberry Pi (Raspbmc) in the lounge. I also access the shared folders from my Mac from time to time.

I've noticed since installing Mavericks that if I access a shared folder on the Mac, e.g. while I'm watching a TV show on the Mac in the kitchen and cooking dinner (common use case), and then go back to the lounge and attempt to access a folder in XBMC, the shared folders become unavailable on XBMC. I get a timeout error, then another one that says the path is invalid. 

If I reboot the Pi it doesn't resolve it, but if I reboot Windows it does resolve it.

I've been able to reproduce this 3 times now. Anyone else having an issue with accessing shared folders among multiple devices? I wonder if this is related to the SMB2 implementation on Mavericks having trouble with accessing SMB1 shares on Windows Server 2008 R2? Though it can access the shares just fine if it's the only device accessing them.
