I wouldn't get so defensive on Apple... People in the industry (media, journalists) know that PR folks will try a lot to steer the perception of things. This video is just an example... The journalist asked a valid question and the VP look around for help from PR because he obviously doesn't want to talk about it.

I was in a conference call once and asked a question to the about some related product and the PR person on the call jumped instantly pushing me to "remain focused". Sometimes they are rude, like this video shows.

And "Great moments in public relations" in the linked post is not a take on Apple only. If you don't follow Valleywag, this is the common title of a series of posts where they show PR at its best (or worst as it seems).
