So I've migrated from Mail app to Thunderbird.

 

All my email accounts are Google Apps (so Gmail).

 

Can I safely remove all Mail app folders from my Macbook Pro (to reduce space)?

 

It takes up over 30GB of space. There's a V2 and a V6 folder.

 

The emails on Mail app were set up as POP. Therefore it's stored on the laptop, right?

I deleted the folders from the laptop with no issues and now a happy Thunderbird user, using IMAP.
