Yes... The information is at Apple website: http://www.apple.com/imac/specs.html

You can use it with iChat. But you could've tried.

Oh and a bit of searching on the web would have save yourself some embarrassment of asking such question.

Posted at 1950 hours, first reply at 1953 hours. In those three minutes (plus the time to start this thread) how many times coud you have found the answer you were looking for by doing a search?!

Well I did search in that time, but to no avail and tried sys pref, ichat and garageband to no avail before making the post.

The person who has this problem has decided that if it did have an inbuilt mic, that its broken.

in hindsight i should have been more descriptive, however it was a pleasure getting nonsense replies rather than simple deductive / process of elimination questions.

Have fun.

I think this thread has just about served its purpose, but before its locked, I'll offer both a snarkey and helpful reply.

The answer to corksta's question is 30. It took me 6 seconds to find out on Google.

A more helpful and instructive answer is to go to mactracker.ca and download the eponymous software that provides a vast amount of detail about every Apple product ever made. It's updated regularly.

David.

If that is the case, isn't this forum redundant if every question can be answered with google
