get an invisible shield from www.zagg.com

Personally I would not bother with a cover, been using mine for 2 years and there are no scratches on it still.

Let me know if shipping is too expensive for you.

Hi - FWIW, I've seen quite a good clip-on hard plastic shell system for MBP's for sale in MagnuMac in Wellington. Sorry, can't remember the manufacturer, but I did think it looked a good system and more convenient than a case.

Cheers,
Mike

Waste of money IMO. Have had several unibody MBP's over the last few years and have suffered no scratches on any of them, have even handled them a bit roughly from time to time.

All it'll do is catch dirt and look ugly.

Avoid Zagg.. their 'shields' are rubbish.  And of course when you send them back for a refund, you never hear from them again.

thanks, I bought one from http://www.uniqueskins.com/design.php?prod=875&opt=1594
i got it from the nature section 6th down from top..

I ordered it and within a week it was here, fast post and it looks great. Then apple logo is cut out to it shows up

I am very very careful with my stuff but also like them to be protected, not from my use but from other peoples misuse.

Again thanks for all you advise..

sorry to hear about your bad experience.

I've replaced mine under their warranty for the iPad, no problems with the replacement process at all

I sent them a 'nicely worded' email yesterday and got a reply back today stating they sent an email that they had recieved them and to check it wasn't in my spam folder. Funny, since nothing was there and nothing recieved.  Anyway...

Agree with this, even my old plastic blackbook was all good. Got a MBP now and it's fine, marks tend to just rub out too
