Okay, so this is definitely going to be a first world issue and maybe not even deserving of any attention or response but it seems lately a lot of promotions going around for different things seem to not be as they advertise (i.e. false advertising)

Am I insane, have I interpreted this totally wrong? Or have they stuffed up?

I've had a Nespresso capsule machine for quite a while now. I got an e-mail saying there was a promotion for buying iced coffee capsules and getting a 50ml bottle of Monin syrup when you buy at least 2 sleeves / 20 capsules of limited edition iced coffee capsules. Cool, I thought, I love iced coffee!

After looking I picked the item "Intense Iced Coffee 10 Sleeve Assortment" along with some other things, ordered and paid

Turns up today without the syrup. I contact their live chat asking if it's coming as another package and after some looking they tell me the item isn't eligible for the syrup 

"the offer is when you purchase 2 sleeves you receive the Monin Premium Sugar Cane Syrup free of charge. That's the reason it wasn't added to your coffee order"

Am I wrong? I purchased 10 sleeves with this pack clearly listed as limited edition in the list and has the word limited over the product image, as well as the words iced coffee

It's totally out of principle I'm asking this - there's a lot of this kind of thing going on that really really irks me right now! So far it feels like I've been robbed of a bottle of nice wine, complimentary speaker stands or subwoofer and now this!

Boo hoo I know.
