My IDEOS 8150 does a pretty good job but it's (a) small and (b) doesn't support Flash I've just signed up for a years subscription to Lynda.com - so the Acer tablet with its great graphics would be spot on for watching the video tutotrials as well as reading all the pdf tutorials I've downloaded, without having to sit with an overheating notebook on my knees. Perfect!
i have a laptop, and since the febuary earthquake nothing else geeky.. so this will double my browsing power! double my geekyness! and double my awesomeness
I don't need any Android tablet as even my first iPad is more useful than the highest spec non iPad tablet because of the awesome app store, bit thanks for asking :-)
Just being honest, but I would be happy to win this tablet coz I need some money.... ie I'll sell it lol
I find my current tablet rig difficult to carry around. I doesn't really fit in my pocket, or even my backpack, and is hard to set up on the bus. Reading e-books is a little slow as they need to load of tape, and this can take several minutes. Sometimes you have to load them a few times before it works. It doesn't do Twitter.
On the bright side, it does have some of the best games ever written (Manic Miner, Jet Set Willy, Jet Pac, Head Over Heels) and it makes trendy "retro" hipsters look like a bunch of wannabe try-hards. Oh, wait...
I took this photograph on 5 May, 2011. It really is my current tablet rig. ;)
I have a laptop and a feature phone. I work in tech support, and it would be fantastic to have an Acer Iconia A500 to get up to speed on tablets /Android.
