I dropped my Pixel XL and it is no longer receiving calls so I need a new phone:

The problem is I dropped it in the middle of the road (it fell out of my pocket while on my motorbike) on State Highway 8 (South of Alexandra) and it sat in the middle of the road getting run over for two hours.
my Nokia C5 I am using at present has done me proud. I had a samsung s3 that expired on me .I charged up my old Nokia again and it works but....I have to admit I would love something a lot better!
I have never been a fan of the so-called improvements that most vendors make to the stock Android UI. So, in the recent past I've owned and loved a series of Nexus devices: Nexus 4, Nexus 5 and currently, Nexus 5X. I have no time for super hero phones, I'm into great value for money, and that's precisely where these Nexus phones were aimed: great value for money and a simple Android experience. The old 5X is getting a bit long in the tooth though and I've been puzzling about where to go. The Pixel phones are the obvious go to but they're way way too expensive. An Android One phone would be perfect, and the Nokia's seem to deliver on both the basic Android experience and value for money front that I'm after. My next phone? Here's to hoping, and good luck to me!
I bought my son a Huawei ShotX to play Pokemon Go on, and it's fair to say it's not up to the task. The game takes forever to load, his Pokeballs lag and fall to the ground, and when he goes to nickname his Pokemon, the device decides there's not enough ram to run the keyboard and disables it halfway through the name. Also he dropped it and broke the camera. This phone would make an amazing replacement.

My iPhone 6 is overdue for replacement, and even a new battery doesn't seem to have sorted battery issues.

I would like to win for my wife, she's just turned 40 and still refuses to have a smart phone after a bad experience with a generic phone that kept playing up on her, the way I figure it is if she had a top of the line unit like these instead of the cheap rubbish I always end up buying perhaps then she might be more interested in having one. She just says all she uses it for is phone calls so she has no need for a smart phone, I think if she experienced a good one she would love it.
Replacing my wife's 5 year old Samsung Galaxy S4 mini. Before that she had a Nokia 3210 Classic.
Will replace the venerable iphone 4.
Samsung fanboy. However, I like what I see in these new Nokia handsets. And Hey, Nokia were leaders in this field for donkeys years. I am sure these new handsets are bitchin :)
I'd be replacing my S7 Edge. I never set out to buy this phone, but the Note 7 instead. Sadly that was not to be, and the Edge has been fine (but still not as cool as the Note). Samsung seem never to have got the hang of doing Android updates properly, so a stock Android would be a big improvement.
Well like many others I am entering on behalf of my lovely wife who has an aging Samsung J7 which really is crawling these days. We love classic Nokias and would love to own their latest one now and ditch Samsung!
