Fred99:
Customer "service" at the Mitre 10 mega stores I visited really sucked.
These "mega" style warehouses in NZ truly suck.
But surely you must have been happy to be greeted at the door?
Fancy car, probably fancy boat, can't park for peanuts.
Hogs up two spots in a very busy car n boat parking space ..
All the different EFTPOS terminal designs.
Some you have to hand your card to the merchant to swipe through.
Some have a touch screen to select your account, some use buttons.
Some you swipe your card through with the stripe on the left, some with the stripe on the right.
People who can't use a parking docket vending machine. Especially those at airport car parks.

I am actually. There's an old fellow at the closest Mega to me, works weekends only. He's great. I've established a banter with him, he asks what I'm looking for, I reply with comments like - I'm looking for a place where I can walk around in circles looking confused. SWMBO got him on Saturday - when they didn't have stock of what we were looking for - told him that's it, his fault - we'd never see him again as we're off to Bunnings. All of this in good humour.
Don't get me wrong, I have great sympathy for most retail store workers - they get treated like dirt, the pay isn't very good, the conditions often aren't very good. I go out of my way to be nice to them and to treat them with respect.
Wash basin faucets that are too close to the basin edge. OK for smurfs maybe.

This old fellah i was following recently knew exactly what to do (at tauranga airport)..........
People who continually recycle old low-res photos on their Trademe listings. Get with the programme!

..and when people list something as a 'New' item when the package has actually been opened and used............................"yes, but only for a little bit"
Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

I remember a couple of years ago a friend was browsing TM and suddenly exclaims "no way!" He's into retro gaming etc and had found a "new" Atari of some sort. Clicks the link, and the photo has the end of the box ripped open. In what universe is this "new"?
Is that new/used thing on TM a tag you select with a definition saying that it's "in original unopened packaging"?
I bought an electronic toy thing a few weeks ago, - they gave me a discount because the box was open and they had to repack the thing in very elaborate packaging. I said I didn't care (true). They explained that the "unboxing" of such things is supposed to be an exciting part of the overall buying experience. I don't get it - I knew exactly what it was in the box, it wasn't a gift, the only surprise could surely be an annoying one - a cable was missing or the thing wouldn't work.
Is it true that part of the reason for elaborate packaging is so that modern people can buy themselves nice things as a surprise?

This may have been mentioned - now TL:DR - but the fact that Trade Me Property listings cannot be searched on the area of land that the house has.
I need a minimum of 5000 sq m yet there is no way to show only houses with more than that.

I like to peel the protective film off things, and it annoys me when I see protective film still on things where it has got tatty and opaque - peel it off already!
Reminds me of when I was working retail and a customer brought a Uniden cordless phone back to me saying he couldn't get the display on the phone to change. Peeling off the protective sticker fixed that for him...
The fact that you can't stream from an Android device to an Airplay device unless you root the Android device.
Why would you need to do something so disruptive simply to stream audio?!
