Might have mentioned this before (and its not a small thing its a biggy) - everything shrinking. Cadburys 250g to 220g to 200g. Pasta sauce 575g to 500g, packets of fish we buy cos proper stuff is so expensive, etc, etc. Also New World mince pies that went from $6.99 to $7.49 to $9.49 in a month or two, how much is inflation exactly ?

Admittedly this might be because I'm cheap. No, that can't be it.......

can't have inflation with shrinkage

Well true. The inflation bit was to do with the price going up so much on the pies, not the shrinking items. Did kind of change the subject a bit I guess.....

Capers reminds me of anchovies, and I have some serious grizzles about packaging of those:

They come in small cans which cost almost as much as small jars, very annoying if you only want a few fillets for a salsa verde or whatever.  The jars all have crimped-seal metal lids, once opened by twisting, they don't seal again properly.  The jars seem like good value until you open them, the manufacturers have perfected packing the fillets in around the edge of the jar - with a hole in the middle filled with oil.  The jars also have a very small base, so tip over easily, and due to the lack of a good seal, when they do fall over, very stinky anchovy oil drips everywhere.

Westpac has now informed me for the fifth time that I will no longer receive paper statements. This is despite turning off paper statements years ago.

Out of the blue Citibank have just started sending me paper statements again, after years of online only. And to make it worse they charged me a $2 fee for printing a paper statement!!

Real Estate agents who proudly display the branding and logo of the company they work for all over their publicity and business cards, but then use an Xtra email address. Do they have no idea who unprofessional that looks?

Errr...no. They are estate agents: professional is not a word to applied to them.

I only would like it for the obscure never used buttons, the ones I use all the time dont need it because they do not move and are usually the same on every device. Except chinese tvs which often put volume and channel the other way around and have everything else the same size and shape without any location nub on the 5 key.

I had a logitech that lit up and it was annoying as. Had some motion detection to light up which would go off all the time when just sitting on the table from the bass.
