I have a single order consisting of two items, one shipped with DPD and one GWUI,

The GWUI item was dispatched two days after the DPD item, but arrived yesterday and updates from the Amazon App were on time. Overall the item was 5 days earlier than expected.

The DPD parcel said it was out for delivery 3 days ago and still hasn't arrived as yet.

So over all it can be a bit random.

So i am now in the same issue as others, package sent via DPD and said a delivery attempt was made yesterday at 4.30pm (when i was working from home with my desk right next to the front door). However I can't seem to find any way to track this DPD package outside of amazon and there is no contact information on amazon website for DPD.  Talking to amazon they can't seem to tell me contact info for DPD or who the local delivery agent for them are in New Zealand.  They won't do anything more until after the expect delivery date (which is 25th September).  I tried the wndirect website but it doesn't know the tracking number :(

Have you tried calling Fastway (or courier post), the chances that one of them is doing the delivery is pretty high, and they may have the Amazon tracking code somewhere in their database.

Also, could you PM your tracking code? I'd love to do a bit of digging to see if I can find a new place to track these DPD codes.

Ordered a tablet and cover and screen protector from Amazon (yes, via Geekzone) on 5 September, expected delivery 24-28 September, and it hasn't even left the Amazon facility yet (17/9).  Nor has my credit card been debited.

It appears to be a single consignment, or will be.  But do delays like this often happen when you order more than one item?  Poor service, or poor understanding of their supply chain?

Normally things from Amazon are fulfilled within 1-3 days, depending on the seller. Or longer if the ad says "new stock arriving in x days".

Whenever I do a multiple item order on the one order there is maybe an extra day or two before it ships, usually not long, definitely not weeks.

But since Amazon hasn't charged your credit card yet you can always cancel the order, it's usually possible up until they charge your card I believe.

I'd contact support and ask what's happening.

Just FYI for others getting stuff shipped via DPD, they still use Fastway once it arrives in NZ, I just received 3 packages from Amazon DPD and they all arrived with Fastway.

Also, it took a week (7 days) to arrived after it had shipped from Amazon.

And suddenly it happened, on 21 September, so much earlier than scheduled, via DHL.  Delete last sentence, I take it all back.  Happy now!

I just had this email from Amazon:

DPD is having trouble delivering your package to the address provided. To ensure a successful delivery, please verify that the address is correct.

If your address is correct, we recommend waiting as the carrier will usually try again. If it still hasn't arrived by the next business day, please contact us.

Which is ironic when its not exactly a hard address/place to find, Fastway have delivered to my address many times before.

This is what I keep getting and then it turns up the next day. These messages seem to be the handover to Fastway message

I've ordered a few things from Amazon lately. Delivery was split between iParcel and DPD.

All iParcel packages arrived on the exact date specified by Amazon. The DPD packages all arrived within a week of placing the order.

I know which one I prefer!

True, first time I've had that with DPD/Fastway

When I look at the Amazon tracking it says DPD handed it off to USPS, so I'm wondering if the seller didn't put the country on the label.

In any case, Amazon decided to refund me (even though I didn't ask for it)

The last two orders from Amazon have been shipped using DPD and very few updates on tracking.  1st one took 2 weeks, and the 2nd one is on still on the way, and the expected delivery date will take it to 2.5 weeks.

I always use their cheapest shipping option and it always comes so much quicker than expected that I have come to expect a quick service from them, so its disappointing.

Yeah, everything I've ordered over the last month or 2 has been DPD via the cheapest shipping option. And same as you, it's normally pretty quick, ~7-9 days. But the odd one does get delayed.

If it goes past the estimated delivery date I'd contact Amazon.

I had the exact same message from dpd, and they delivered via fastway the next day. It seemed a bizarre time in the evening to have a failed delivery. I don't think it was even an attempt.

Have they stopped using DHL?  They delivered so quickly.
