Would that last the 14 days, or would you replace the K-Tape?  And if so, did you put a barrier over the Miaomiao to prevent the K-Tape sticking to it?

I have been looking at various products similar to the Miaomiao, was there a reason you liked this in particular?  I have not gone for any of them yet until I get a handle on attaching the Libre properly, as Abbot wont warranty it falling off if anything else was attached.

Lots of questions sorry, its basically been the only update to my various diabetic bits and pieces that's been a life changer so I'm keen to get it dialed in.

Actually, I used to get about 22 - 28 days out of it (used to restart my libre sensors) - but the tape would be getting pretty grimy by then.
I do have fairly hairless / oil free skin though.
Never would put anything between the tape and the libre - although others would, which allowed the tape to be removed and changed without pulling the sensor out.
Had a love hate relationship with the miaomiao. Choice is to either use the default Tomato app or x-drip. Tomato is garbage and xdrip is only available for android devices. Xdrip is probably the best cgm application available. I know a lot of people also use it for their dexcom sensors.
There are a couple of apps for ios that use xdrip in their name but in reality have nothing to do with xdrip on android and are not as good.

Glimp is another android app that works with Miaomiao as well as NFC direct scanning the libre sensor. It also lets you calibrate as well in case you have put the sensor in an odd location.

I tried xdrip but didnt like it.

My experience with the glimp setup is about 12 months out of date since i went dexcom and closed loop pump so YMMV.

I use "Adapt" from Hollister called Universal Remover Wipes.

Wipes

Designed for the purpose. Lots of folk use medical type devices that leave some residue behind. These work for me and are non sting on the skin.

Baby oil, I use it to remove both strapping tape and my glucose monitor.

there is an app called iDroplet that will let you restart a Libre 1 sensor.
It's only available for android however.
There used to be an iphone version but it was pulled from the app store by apple

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

also, if you are having trouble with adhesion this stuff should do the trick for you . . .
Not available in NZ as far as I'm aware but cheap enough on Amazon.
I had a box of it a while ago but found it a bit of overkill as I never had trouble keeping things stuck.

I think i'll pick up a cheap android phone and give this a go, it would definitely be worth it.
