I'm still waiting for some bike lights I bought a few weeks back, but everything else has arrived OK.

Bought the lights off Probikekit.co.nz but see that is simply the local URL for a larger international outfit that likely dropship from somewhere.

No tracking, but free postage and estimated delivery of around nowish...I'd expect the lights to arrive sometime in the next week or two.

My order from AKL - Nelson has finally had some movement this morning. Guess they must have moved it to Chch to sort it?

Also didn't get an email update about it again either. Has anyone else been getting the email updates? Maybe that is broken haha.

AK72: I had my parcel delivered today - sent from Sydney on the 11th by EMS.
Good luck to everyone waiting for their parcels.

My EMS parcel from Melbourne has been stuck at Melbourne Airport since the 7th! Guess Sydney has more freight space ATM.

During Level 1 lock down I bought online some pet fish supply from an Auckland store. The order was fulfilled very quickly but it took Fastway 3 days to get the goods from Auckland to Wellington. ie. Order completed on Monday and received goods on Friday.

During Level 2, I  bought something from my usual online pharmacy based in Auckland. Order completed on 6-May, Goods shipped on 13-May via CourierPost. Received goods on 18-May.

Does the delays put me off online shopping? Not completely. But I would not buy anything time sensitive/time critical or high value. The online retail infrastructure and the courier network in NZ is simply not gear up for the online shopping volume. Going to the shop would be my first preference for high value items follows by Click and Collect.

Ordered an HDMI cable from Ascent on Sunday night, arrived in Carterton this morning. (about 36 hours via CourierPost))

After reading about some bad experiences here, I was pleasantly surprised.

Still waiting on a package that was sent "Overnight" via CourierPost on 07 May. Going from North Shore to West Auckland.

Tracking just says parcel delayed. No estimated delivery.

I am in Auckland and ordered some protein bars from two different sellers on Trademe on the same day, one is coming from Hamilton, which I received the day after the order placed and yet the other one is coming from North Shore, which is across town but took couple more days extra than the expected delivery.

Rikkitic:

Are there any freight flights here from the UK at all? I don't mind waiting but the lack of any information is annoying.

Finally received today

Just sharing my experience of another parcel. My parcel from AliExpress (standard shipping) left on the 11th of May and arrived yesterday. I consider myself lucky with the progress of my purchases, perhaps timing? It must be that all the local purchases made during level 4 and early level 3 overwhelmed the system and any sense of order went out the window.

It does seem they are getting on top of it.

Parcels sent this week seem to be getting about as normal (I sent one AKL to Napier on Monday, it was delivered Tuesday).

It's the older parcels that are stuck in courier hell. We still have people contacting us at work looking for the stuff they bought in April, and was shipped in April.

Anything shipped pre-level 2 seems affected. It is getting there, but slowly. Items bought in the last 10 days or so seem to be getting there a lot faster.

same boat here, there's a lot of people in this thread who haven't received their stuff when it was picked up on may 7th

My Dyson Vacuum Cleaner was picked up on the 9th (Saturday) from Auckland Airport Oaks, and was scheduled for delivery the 13th, then the 14th and now delivery is omitted.

I now have to wait until 25th May (Monday) to contact them (10 working days for Auckland).

I could have done Click and Collect, but I was too lazy.

Next time I will use Click and Collect if at all possible.

Ironically enough my parcel turned up yesterday afternoon. But I had already sorted out an iPhone via Vodafone directly and picked it up in store using a voucher.

So when the courier turned up I said "No, sorry I am rejecting this package and can you please return it back to sender.

Am now tracking how the return journey goes.
