That's lucky! My PBT deliveries made it to Wellington overnight and then all sat in the Wellington depot for 15 days before finally getting delivered only after the seller chased them up. Oh wait, they have misplaced half the consignment and are now looking for it.

Same issue here. Item from Auckland has been sitting in the PBT Wellington Depot for 9 days now. Rang them today and they said they will track it.

I said if it isn't delivered by COB Tue then it'll be considered lost and don't bother delivering it as I'll be disputing it.

On the flip side I've had excellent service from Castle delivering all within their timeframes.

I had a PBT package delivered today, It was picked up in Wellington on the 11th, so 11 days to Masterton... I emailed yesterday, no reply, I don't think that will have prompted them.

I also ordered something from Element14 (Sydney) on the 11th it was delivered on the 14th, so DHL/Courierpost did well there !!

Seems (for the most part) all courier companies bar Courierpost are managing their deliveries in a timely manner. They're the only ones still running behind.

Maybe it's just local to me but CP handle the bulk of courier deliveries up here, NZC 2nd, Fastways/Aramex 3rd and the rest are a rare enough sight it's hard to tell who's who. I'm not surprised they are struggling

Most problems are the result of previous solutions...

My boy's eBay purchase is still not here. Is there any way at all to track an eBay purchase?

And a little boy waits...

If the item was sent using a tracked service, the seller should have provided a tracking code. You can find that by looking at your purchase history on eBay. Failing that, try asking the seller directly.

You can raise a claim with eBay and get your money back if the item has gone missing. You need to wait until the end date for estimated delivery (see your purchase history again), and then you generally have to put the claim in within 30 days of that date.

Had a 11/3 package arrive yesterday. Still no 27/2, so I think there's a stack (in the Computer Science sense of the word) of stuff in warehouses.

Thanks for this. The "expected" delivery date was May 11, so I've reached out to the seller requesting a tracking number.

Be prepared to put in a claim with eBay in the next couple of weeks, then! It's a shame for the seller - there's every chance he's been screwed over by delays or failings caused by NZ Post - but that's showbiz.

Edit: Watch out for the seller stringing you along until after the deadline for raising a missing item claim with eBay has passed! This has been known to happen.

My experience has been a bit of a hit and miss:

Placed an online order with Samsung on 21/05 and it got delivered today, despite the tracking indicating estimated delivery date to be 28/05.

Yet a Trademe item I sold on 18/05, collected from me on 19/05 is still not delivered, latest status showing as at depot for processing with estimated delivery date to be on 25/05.

In both cases above the delivery was across town in Auckland.
