Pirate Bay's future in peril
A court in Europe warned that giving users free access to a trove of movies and music risks breaking the law.

Who'da thunk it?

All they have to do now is find which law it broke in what country - and how they stop a server in a someone's basement in an obscure, legally dubious country from serving said trove...!

I have been looking for better ways to stream content on my media pc using HLS. Most of what I find is pirated. I can't believe how much is out there. It is hard to find streams that are not pirated. A lot of it is click-ready, no ads, no sign-up, no cost, often good quality. How can anyone compete?

Unfortunately the Herald/Stuff don't have a monopoly on this stuff.

"Swiss supercomputer edges US out of top spot" - BBC.

Only... the US was at #3 and is now at #4.

We knew journalists couldn't spell and didn't know grammar. Now we also know they can't read what they've written. This is the entire article, not just a portion.

Police have found missing Auckland woman Lisa Harrison.

A police spokeswoman said the 19-year-old was located on Tuesday evening, four days after she was last seen in the North Shore suburb of Takapuna.

Harrison was safe and well, the spokeswoman said.

Police had been unable to locate Harrison despite extensive search efforts, but believed she was with friends.

Then there's the rediculously obvious: "Children are missing out on school if taken on holiday during term time" 🙄

Wow, it's essentially a recycling of the "drying clothes" one from a few weeks ago, just with coffee makers instead!

Nothing wrong with taking showers. Nothing wrong with taking baths either. But taking toilets just makes you a thief!

Don't you love English? :)

Taking toilet breaks the trend?
