PhantomNVD: As a primary (y6) science teacher, I can attest ALL of those are covered by the Cambridge curriculum by y6, though to be fair, not every child 'retains' everything they learn, especially if it's not a real interest, or a part of their later life.

I think that'll be because people only hear news about the active gasses in the atmosphere, Oxygen, CO2 and Ozone. The only 'regular' use of N2 gas is in high performance car tyres, and I suspect that's mostly placebo.
