wonderferret: A shiny new 3d printer from my wife
afe66:
Not too bothered by Xmas, so volunteered to work night of Xmas and Boxing day.
Small person too small to know what xmas means anyway.
Probably different next year.
Always pays to keep the roster person happy to maximise the chances of getting the days off later in the year when I really must have specific days off work.

I'm on the other end of that situation, as my wife is working Xmas and Boxing day 12 hour shifts, so I'll be on my onsome getting tea ready for when she gets home. I've been looking for a large screen TV this week, so if I can get that sorted out before Xmas, I might treat myself to some Blu-ray movies.
Blimey that sounds sad. I came here from the UK ten years ago, and family Christmases are one of the few things I miss.

UK Christmas much better, cold dark lots food but prefer NZ New year's eve. Bonfires in the beach, stating up all night etc.
