NZH: "Aucklanders blasted by rain, thunder, hail". C'mon - it's winter FFS and this weather is nothing unusual.

I know it been said countless times on these forums but I took a trying-to-be objective look at the Herald website just now - and what an unmitigated load of crap it is. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Someone posted on GZ the other day that the Herald site's visitor numbers are way down. Who woulda thunk it?

Ironically this is how the NZHerald plan to make more money.

Perhaps it's a silicon valley plot to drive the share price down and acquire it ; ).

Edit: No thank you.

Did they headline this twice - so both of my wives could read it?

You might be rural, need VDSL because broadband isn't available in your area, want or not want fibre, need a static IP address or simply like your broadband, landline, mobile and/or power charges all on one bill.

Here I was thinking that VDSL was broadband.

EDIT: Actually, this is good news for rural people who can't get broadband - just get VDSL instead foot-in-mouth

A 24% decline in year on year sales for one month isn't a "collapse".

I learned me a new word today: 'expansioned'

Why you should visit Panama Canal

An engineering marvel, the expansioned Panama Canal will leave you in even more awe.

"iPhone users sent nude pics"

I suspect that people have been doing that for ten years...
