Tsk, he/she forgot to add text-align: justify;

Persistent and superfluous use of the word "baby" whenever the PMs child Neve is referred to. For example "carrying baby Neve" , "breastfeeding baby Neve" etc.

That the former working WAN failover of EdgeOS is still broken in the current version.

I think I shall adopt the soubriquet 'childless grumpy old man' as a persistent and superfluous moniker whenever referring to you.

Don't be fooled by the avatar, I don't think Geektastic has reached "old" yet.

They don't.  (Unless they're hedging, which they possibly are.)

That doesn't sound right. Did you pay in NZD or USD, and which currency did they refund in?

Amazon don't lose or gain anything. They refund you the USD amount of your purchase. The exchange rate dictates the amount actually received by you. Nothing to do with Amazon. Sometimes it can work in your favour, sometimes not. Amazon never receive or refund more than the listed price of the item and shipping.

There's a fairly good chance the "missing" money is taken in fees by both bank and credit-card providers.

It’s not just that the exchange rate can move for or against you, there’s also the big difference between the Bank Buy and Bank Sell exchange rates that the banks use. This could easily account for a $10 difference in $100 - even if the exchange rate itself has not moved.

I'm not sure whether today's grizzle is bad documentation or bad software. Tried to embed an image in a map and the docs said that it must be served over HTTPS. In reality, HTTPS didn't work* and HTTP did.

*The error was something like "that doesn't seem to be a valid URL". The URL was valid. The wording "doesn't seem" would indicate that it's not quite sure, yet there was no option to continue anyway.
