Maybe it is just Hamilton city with delays as I have been getting courier parcels overnight from Auckland to Te Awamutu. Usually it is a delay in sorting and I would have thought Waikato would get all its parcels go through the Hamilton hub.
Beccara:Auspost is a real crapshoot at the moment, 1 parcel here in 5 days, another still hasn't left AU:
"Your parcel is at your local depot and is waiting for your local courier driver" - I've had that on two packages for the past eight days. I think it's time to chase them up...
are NZ post bothering to update your tracking info, my last 2 parcels have gone from waiting for pickup to with courier for delivery and nothing in between.
Common sense is not as common as you think.
AK72:
Can you please tell me whether they were a standard or express?
No idea sorry, standard international I suspect. It finally landed on Sunday:

Just because it has a tracking number doesnt mean its fully trackable .
If not a full trackable service, you only get some, not all tracking updates. Sometimes only when it arrives at the NZ boarder, then nothing .
It can also be that they arnt be scanned at every step of the journey . Couriers are overloaded , it may have just not been scanned .

all great but if you have to be home for delivery it makes it hard if you dont know when it could arrive

Does anyone know who delivers for DPEX? is it Aramex or Toll? I have a package from Guangzhou sitting at Auckland hub from 29 Nov to Auckland central
Thanks!

Try https://parcelsapp.com/. It gets data from various sources and often it correctly identifies the carrier doing the delivery in NZ.
Bought an item last Tuesday afternoon from a TM seller in Whanganui with over 20,000 sales. Item is for a test box I am building at work.
Wasn't picked up by Courier Post until 5pm Thursday.
Using their online tracking the expected overnight delivery to Christchurch is next Tuesday!
My maths may be wrong, but that looks like 5 overnights?
Later that afternoon I also ordered parts for the same test box from one of my usual suppliers in Auckland. NZC had these parts on my bench at 8am the next morning.
Not impressed with Courier Post!
Couriers are super super busy right now. I had something take 9 days to deliver from Petone to me about 15 minutes drive away, it arrived Sunday morning. Couriers from Auckland are taking at least a week, usually a bit more. Christmas, lockdown, etc, it's expected. Be thankful they don't just give up.

Sold an item a week ago, arranged for NZ Post to pick it up on the Friday and now a week has gone by with no pick up. I have a daily routine of putting it on the doorstep when I go to work and bringing it back in late evening. And NZ Post have managed to drop things off inbetween. I'm going to drop it off at the Courier Post base at the bottow of Ngaio Gorge tomorrow.

If it didn't get picked up on the date arranged, you probably needed to book a pickup again or they'd never come...

but yeah, you can always drop off to an NZ Post shop.
