Petrol stations that disguise their high prices by not having a big sign that advertises fuel prices you can see from the road!
I would say ones that only show 91 on the sign to compete with gull, and still charge a fortune extra for 95 which is not on the sign. looking at you caltex up in albany.
The recently refurbished BP in Martinborough has snazzy new pumps etc but still no sign to let us know that the fuel is 10% + more expensive than, say, Masterton!
When my missus was working in Auckland last year, she could buy 91 at $1.77 when it was $2.05 here!
The price of living in the back of beyond
Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

She shoulda stockpiled a whole lot of petrol and brought it back with her. ![]()
The Big Chill in Lower Hutt ... for putting Watties Tomato sauce into their Heinz Tomato ketchup bottles.
The Petone Working Mens Club for putting a cheap imitation of the real Worcestershire Sauce into the original Lea & Perrins bottles.
The Running Man fad.
Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

Seriously? 50 miles from the capital of the nation is 'the back of beyond' now?

It's the sawdust on the floor and the Woodbines in WMC that I dislike....

I'm going to nominate Trade Me.
For some reason they have decided to do something to my account which means I cannot use it until they have 'approved' it - yet I do not know why or when it will be approved.
If I wish to discuss this with them, it will cost me $2/minute to call them.
I can barely describe how much that does not represent any form of customer service, much less good customer service.

woodbines?
Woodbine is a brand of cigarette made in England by W. D. & H. O. Wills (now Imperial Tobacco) since 1885
Noted for its strong unfiltered cigarettes, the brand was popular in the early 20th century, especially with soldiers during World War I and World War II. In the Great War, the British Army chaplain Geoffrey Studdert Kennedy MC was affectionately nicknamed "Woodbine Willie" by troops on the Western Front to whom he handed out cigarettes along with bibles and spiritual comfort.
In common parlance, the unfiltered high-tar Woodbine was one of the brands collectively known as "gaspers" until about 1950, because new smokers found their strong smoke difficult to inhale. A filtered version was launched in the United Kingdom in 1948, but was discontinued in 1988.
