Coming to work today for the first time in a long time and it was fine.
Went to a client meeting and when I came out it was raining.
Got back to the office a little damp and it's fine again.
Annoying.

If you configure networking devices please read, especially if you work for an ISP where you can configure your own devices with no control over customer equipment that may be connected to it:
Please do not set a port speed/duplex to anything other than auto/auto unless you can guarantee that the other connected device will forever also be manually configured. If one end of a link is auto/auto and the other end is set to 100/full then the auto negotiation will fail and fall back to half duplex, resulting in a mismatch.
Throw into the mix some moron forgetting to copy the running config to startup.
The amount of paper wasted every time we have an election telling people that if no details have changed they do not need to do anything - except bin all the paper we just sent you.

With a side order of if the details had changed, chances are you wouldn't have received said pieces of paper.
Shop at new World, the Clubcard discounts have dropped by 80% on the norm. Basically a covert price increase

Discounting across the board seem to have eased considerably which is not surprising given the economic climate. The exception of course is Briscoes, only the rapture would stop their sale.
Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

I would have thought supermarkets escaped the worst economic woes, although no doubt there were more costs back then.

They have to recover the cost of all the perspex somehow :-)

So what? It's something small that annoys me.

This is not directed at you Rikkitic I get very irritated by the term "first world problem". It is bandied around often here and it seem like a way to trivialise a problem that is a problem for the person. One of those silly buzz phrases that needs to go the way of the Dodo

I find it a convenient shorthand phrase, but I take your point.

Yeah it drives me nuts too. Basically insinuates that if you aren't starving in Africa then you should keep quiet. See it a bit on mountain-bike forums. Oh you shouldn't be complaining about your $15k bike because first world problems etc.
NB. I do not have a $15k mountain-bike! Maybe if I added them altogether... N+1
