Paying for street parking using those newfangled numbers only and then get a parking ticket nonetheless. Lucky paid with Google Pay so have a screenshot of the transaction - already appealed.

The fact that our neighbour, who lives in Auckland, is mowing the grass outside the holiday home in Martinborough she arrived at last night....

What happened to being able to pay using a phone? I was in town a week ago and that seemed to have vanished.

What happened to being able to pay using a phone? I was in town a week ago and that seemed to have vanished.

That's gone but I like paying with Google Pay (paywave) as I have a record on my phone. Got home and raised an appeal straight away.

I don't think that indicates they don't care. I think it indicates they are probably facing unprecedented demand, or may have a chunk or staff working remotely. Give them a day or two to get back to you :)

That's why I used a "?"

I would have thought that they would use an actual recyclable plastic. Especially given the publicity etc here in Christchurch re un-recyclables being put out etc.
