Parcel shipped from The Warehouse yesterday. Got an email this morning saying "Out for delivery". Then a bit later another email "Order delivered" and checked the NZ Post tracking - sure enough it says "delivered".

Except that it wasn't. It's nowhere to be seen here.

Called NZ Post but their recording says they are too busy to attend people trying to track parcels.

On hold with The Warehouse for 40 minutes now.

I've had this before when the courier company the sender uses classes an address as one that a partner delivers - so I get told an item is delivered but what they mean is they've delivered it to their parcel handover point for the other courier company to finish, bloody annoying when you think something wasn't sent to the right place!

Possible, if NZ Post is using some third party to deliver parcels. But after two hours on hold I still know nothing.

I hung up after 90 minutes, called again and was on-hold for another 30 minutes before I just gave up for today.

If The Warehouse doesn't reply to my email contact then at least was a small loss - $24. But it also means I won't buy online from them again.

Sure, could have happened with anyone. But the fact customer service is so poor (hey, lots of people looking for jobs), tells me they don't need my money.

Had two very delayed items delivered today. Both by the Postie.

Ordered some toothbrush heads on Trade Me yesterday. They arrived at my rural address today! Just regular NZ Post. They must have time-travelled to get here so fast. Never experienced anything like it.

you were on the phone for 120 minutes, for $24? How much longer will you go before it isn’t worthwhile?

It's my $24. Also it's a truckload of half price Lindt chocolate with free delivery so it's a lot of chocolate that I want to eat.

Just managed to talk to NZ Post. The lady says she can see the courier van stopped at my address on the time listed as "Delivered" (via GPS) and will open an investigation.

Did the lady also say the courier carried on towards the next stop? Maybe he is lying on the berm in a chocolate coma? 🤪

Edit: coma vs. come

I am finding some couriers are providing a far better service and far faster pickup and delivery then normal. I am surprised, as I thought there would be significant delays due to backlogs.

The Warehouse is selling half price chocolate? Where? I looked at some of the Waikato Valley stuff (yum!) but they didn't seem to have any discounted.

That was a week ago. Thread here in Bargains and Deals sub-forum - 50% discount and free shipping. I got a load of Lindt and Ferrero Rocher chocolate - I mean I will get when NZ Post finds the box.

Most were waaaaay under half price. All Easter Eggs were $1.97 or less.
