Anyone ever tried to replace a lost / stolen drivers licence? This is more difficult than replacing / renewing a NZ passport

Why do they need a Bank Statement showing my address when my car is registered to my home address where they send the reminder rego letters every 12 months?

Then they say bring in a phone bill! Like Hello I have not seen a phone bill in approx 13 years

The information required to confirm identification is a legal requirement. See Land Transport (Driver Licensing) Rule 1999, Rule 10.
