A fair while ago ebay (circa 2013) changed their USA Ebay motors listings to be blocked for everyone outside the USA

A family friend likes to Browse these listings, A while ago I set him up with Hola extension in Chrome to make it seem like he was in the US and it worked fine, this stopped working when he got a new computer a couple of years back, He wants me to set it up for him again however before going to his house I tested on my computer and can't get the listings to show using Hola now - I am assuming eBay have blocked the IP Addresses that Hola uses or similar.

Trying to access the page normally, I just get an error

This page isn’t working www.ebay.com redirected you too many times.

There also used to be another workaround where you could search for a car and then in the search results at the top of the listings set shipping Postcode to USA and then it would show the category and then you could browse the listings.

Also setting primary address in eBay account to USA would also work.

None of these seem to work anymore

Does anyone have any suggestion of how to access eBay Motors from New Zealand? Ideally a free solution but perhaps a proper VPN is the only realistic solution? in which case can anyone recommend an easy to use and hassle free reliable one that could be set up for a non techie person to use?
