Hey guys, Personally i think its an obvious scam. Has been received in New Plymouth central (in the mail). Funny part is the letter is adressed to Dad, and it says Mrs L Alldridge (lol).

have a laugh and i look forward to replies :) If anyone has any experience with this kind of thing, please share.

edit: plus there is another 3 pages full with people vouching how legit the lotto is and that my dad should send away $25 to make the most of this once in a lifetime opportunity (again, lol). I get these all the time in my inbox and just block the sender, however my parents are always like OMG what if we WON? (3rd lol).

gz ftw

The whole letter smells like scam. The "URGENT" at the top. The "President's promise" and everything else trying to make you feel the urgency of making the payment otherwise you might lose - soliciting for lottery? SCAM.

Also having a checkbox to mark, and a place to stick the "President's Seal" is obviously something put in there so that there'll be an excuse - if people complain about paying money for this scam they can always come back with "look, if they went to the trouble of checking the boxes and sticking the seal they obviously understood the instructions so there's no mistake"...
