What is everyone's common practice of recieving correctly addressed mail in the wrong po box say it was sent to 1234 and you recieved it at 1235 what would you do? What does everyone normally do? Would you write wrong address?

There's normally a box right there at the post office to put it...

Is getting the wrong mail a common occurence or rare as I've only had this happen this happen in the 11th month of my po box.But I also saw that someone just placed the wrong mail on top of the right po box.

Also how common knowledge is the box in the post office that you put your mail at?

They have a slot in the door where you get your parcels for returns, I just pop it in there, same as the mail that comes to someone that is not me at my PO Box.
