We have a number of Spark (was Telecom) members who are putting on a brave face but are increasingly unhappy about still being grouped as "Telecom NZ".

plambrechtsen in particular is doing his best to be paid for his normal marketing actives here on GZ, However he wont be able to submit his final request for payment until his group is finally updated.

"I work for Telecom Spark, but as always my views are my own."

Please help him and others in their struggle to cast away their own company name and provide a new beginning for them.

I asked Peter last week when Telecom is changing names and this is not happening until later this year. This has not happened yet, so until the company is officially "Spark" there can be no changes here.

I think some people don't know the change is not effective yet and may have thought we missed something.

Gee I didn't know that GZ was a "professional" forum as a whole and in particular in the "off topic" area. I will need to ask the leprechaun's about that too .....

Beyond that Im sure there is some value in publicly confirming there will be a name change for that company group within the GZ closer to when its representatives confirm that its ok todo so, or would you prefer Mauricio to answer the same question a number of times to other forum members in PM's ?

Very um.. Different way to portray your views. I suppose when Telecom is legally known as Spark they will change it. I think Mauricio is keeping up with the times.

The tone was of the original post was designed to be amusing. Unfortunately my current view is that I have either missed the mark or you have been working behind our desks a little to long today and its time to relax and chill a little.

To help complete the circle .....

Telecom NZ have yet to publicly confirm their rebranding date (as of information on http://www.spark.co.nz) other than "sometime this year" however there maybe more accurate information on the web via other publications.

Anyone who has a company grouping associated with their GZ account is to some level representing that company no matter their view or content on any given matter.

plambrechtsen is in a tongue and cheek way already suggesting he works for Spark rather than Telecom so that's why its not unreasonable to inquire if the wording of that company group is going to change before the official name change.

And there will be plenty of public comm's on it.... So I doubt anyone will be able to miss it.

I saw the funny in it but like i said, Different approach. Not a way i would go about things given my very wide array of that skill @freitasm...

This is interesting, Would be happy to see some of those things listed fixed, Didnt foresee 1,2,3,4 being on that list...
