Saw this guy on the TV1 news tonight in THIS STORY about a possible virtually unhackable computer they are developing in Otago Uni.  Apart from the fascinating tech, David Hutchinson looks like a stereotypical geek.  Heck, he is an eleven on the Asperger's scale, with a slight shyness in front of the camera — you could see he was itching to get back to his laser coms before someone else beats him to a Nobel prize for inventing a quantum computer (I'm making this stuff up, in case you hadn't guessed).

So what I am thinking, is that Freitasm should make him an honourary member of Geekzone, and send his a special gold rimmed lapel badge

And maybe even a Geekzone Procket Protector

Geektastic: I want that pocket protector!

It's pure Photoshop, as is the pen, so it's just tone with a wee bit of colour.  I pinched the light saber and sonic screwdriver from Google Images, but I thought a Geekzone Pocket Protector should have a Geekzone pen in it, so I made one.  Considering most of it is hidden, I guess I got a bit carried away, but it's all good practice.

Anyone interested in using Photoshop for illustration, could do worse than look at Steve Caplin's 100% Photoshop.
