Does anyone recall the make/model of the car used in the advert where they reminisce about not having features like aircon (wind windows down) angry birds (magpies) radio (aunties in back seat) .... ??

It was for a lead additive for unleaded fuel when NZ went to lead free petrol.

I can't remember the name of the product but it was like a syringe and you added it to a take of petrol for cars that were not designed for unleaded.

I think it was just a general advert for Holden as a brand.

He was driving a pink ( ish ) HQ Holden if I recall.
It was about the time when unleaded petrol was being phased out ( 1996 )
If I recall it was the mother inlay in the back set ( Air Bag )
Cental Locking was being able to lean over and lock all the doors.

I have spent a few hours looking on you tube for the video but no luck.
I can't even seem to find the name of the product I am thinking of.

I could be thinking of a different advertisement all together.

I remember the ad that you've described, and it was definitely for the lead additive product.

The Valvemaster ad was definitely similar, so the other posts aren't too far off the mark :)

Without question this was a Holden brand ad. From memory they had a series of old holden FJ, HQ in it.
