Sad, he was good on Top Gear just not a great driver

Generally although any Kiwi who spent much time living and working in the UK in the last 25 years will certainly have heard of him. Amongst a great many other things, he was the voice of the BBC breakfast radio show on Radio 2 for a long time and had well over 8 million listeners every day to that.

He was a radio personality with a brain, not like the plastics we get here.
