...it's just to hard for me to sell physical good to Australia.

I can sell you stuff in .nz, call fastway or sub60 and pay a 'reasonable' fee.  Auckland is just about as close as Sydney or Melbourne.

I have yet to find a courier company with a simple ticket system for extremely small exporters.  I run a small digital printing business and I could be, should be, selling Australian stuff because it's good for New Zealand that I'm bringing cash into our country and with exchange rates it means the Australians can benefit from our good pricing.

Last time I looked the DHL on ramp, and I confess this was some time ago, was just stupid and prohibitive.  Vistaprint send me emails every day and their service is just amazing.  So clearly it's quite possible for companies to get a sensible courier arrangement to service the New Zealand market place.

So, yes, the purpose of this mornings short rant really is a shout out for help to work out how I remove this silly road block for my business.

Clearly my ramblings are nothing more than just frustration at my inability so far to just find a sensible solution that works for my business, so I thought I'd just reach out and ask for some help! :)

It struck me living in Australia just how bad the freight industry is there.  In my experience it would often cost 1.5x as much to send goods from Australia to NZ as from the US to NZ, and takes 3 times as long.  Packages frequently went "missing" for weeks at a time, even just going from Melbourne to Sydney.  Things might have changed but I get the impression that the entire service industry in AU is stuck in the mid 20th century.

I just returned a Garmin Fenix to Australia for warranty work.

Cost around $25 (don't recall exact number but there or thereabouts). That was tracked/signature.

2c only. DHL is a premium service imo competitor to FedEx. A Google search gets a lot of hits for basic courier.

For small ad-hoc shipping out of NZ, the simplest and cheapest you can get is NZ Post air mail, complete form online, submit CC details, print label (which includes the CN22 declaration, no need for green sticker), put label into doculope (free from NZ Post), stick on box along with airmail label and put package in mail box/drop box/leave on post shop counter.

No tracking, but if you do it online you will know when it goes through the mail centre outbound because they weigh and charge your credit card at that time.
