So this was new to me. Seems like you can actually request your house be blurred (not sure why you would though).

 

Browsing around the neighbourhood, I found this blurred house.

 

 

 

The blurring makes it stand out substantially from the rest of the houses. If you want privacy, then I am not sure thats the best way to get it..

Ironically, the address is still shown on-screen or in Map View ... one could then easily go to the Local Authority Rates lookup for further details, and the Electoral Roll for names etc tongue-out
