I'm a OpenEdge developer/administrator (rare beasts) and I think it's time to learn something new. What development training course could I do in Wellington for 4~5 days?

I think in that time you could become a competent pole dancer.

Perhaps you could refine the scope of your request. Are you looking to learn a new programming language to change jobs? Do you want to future proof your skillset?

Cloud training, Azure or AWS, is worth seriously considering.

The problem I have is I don't exactly know what I want to do, but future proofing would be great.

Training needs to be based on your needs or interests or you won't benefit from it much. Azure and AWS Clouds are looking like they'll continue their growth and become almost the default, so having cloud knowledge and certifications could be beneficial. It's pretty interesting too. I have the three AWS associate certifications (architect, sysop, developer), currently studying for the two pro (architect, devops).
