I am having problems logging into my Amazon account. I try to log in as per normal with name and password and it comes up with a request to insert my phone number that ends with two digits. I have never had a phone number like that.  I go to the problems page and it says we will ring you fill in your phone. Unfortunately the countries listed do not include New Zealand and if I try to enter my phone number 649 etc it rejects it. It does have Australia and a host of ot countries but Not new Zealand.

It then says it is better if you contact us via email. Nowhere on any of the pages can I find an email address. It just keeps circling back to the phone us page.

I know I haven't used my account for a few months but I have used it frequently in past. Is this a new thing requesting phone number etc

Any help would be appreciated

Can you contact them using chat? I have used that in the past and it worked well. Not sure if it would be accessible if you were not logged in though.

Alternatively, is there a number you can call them on?

Cannot access chat till you log in as far as I can see. The page to call them only works if you can pick your country off the page. New Zealand is Missing. Really Weird

Solved the problem I use a DNS redirector and it confused Amazon so they would only show me the countries that they thought I might be in ..

All OK  now
