Hi All,

This is my last working day for the year, and I am hoping for the signal from the boss to go home shortly after a shared BBQ lunch. In the next day or 2 I'll be heading down to to my bach at Otematata for a bit of R&R. I savour being disconnected from the outside world when I am there, save for the 6pm news on TV. While I can check emails and browse websites on my phone, I am very unlikely to do that at all for the next 2 weeks, much preferring to be out on the boat doing a little water skiing, fishing or just good old beer drinking!

So until I return to the grindstone on 09 January, I hope you all have a great Christmas and a happy new year. Be kind to your families and friends, and most of all stay safe on the road. Thanks for all the laughs this forum has brought me over the past year, and I look forward to plenty more next year.

Where's everyone else headed these holidays?

Merry Christmas from me too, to everyone who has participated on Geekzone this year.

I am heading to the South Island tomorrow and, over the next couple of weeks, I will be touring many places that I haven't seen for many years. Hopefully the weather will be warm enough for a bit of swimming along the way.

As above, let's stick to the existing thread please. Otherwise, this could get messy!

Merry Christmas all!
