I ordered 4 sets of ice crampons from them, but they didn't ship within the window and the order was cancelled. Have now received a PM from the vendor telling me that AliX made a mistake and the items did ship, so could I now pay them! In other words my CC was never debited.

However as that order cancelled I went ahead and bought them elsewhere (eBay) so not inclined to pay twice.

I guess if they sent me a pre-paid envelope I could send them back?

This is what I ordered from AlixX: (knock-off)

and this is what I ordered from eBay (genuine)

FYI I already have a set of the Yaktrax Pros and have used them for about 4 years - fantastic if not essential for Mt Ruapehu hard icy snow. I figured I should buy some for the rest of the family.

links fixed... what is the correct forum? FWIW I think they are a bargain and a deal - if you can find them in NZ they're $80+

@freitasm maybe add some logic when posting a new topic to this thread to display an alert noting this should be a deal to buy something as hundreds of people will get an email immediately telling them of something great to buy cheap!

Also if the username is in bold the notification or link doesn't work properly..

The eBay link works for me... but I think the AliX one only worked because I was signed in there... given the moaning I can't be bothered fixing it and mods can feel free to delete the whole thread. Hope nobody slips on the ice and gets hurt!

sounds to me like the vendor needs to have their battle with ali not you.

I'll often see them trying to bypass ali in any situation possible - eg disputes..

Yes, the link only worked for Aliexpress because that was your unique order link which you needed to be signed in for.
